Much More Than A Cardboard Box!

Silver Pearlised Transporter Box

Silver Pearlised Transporter Box

Question: When is a cardboard box not a box?

Answer: When it’s a Living Vase.

Or to give it it’s other popular names, when it’s a Transporter Box, Castle Vase or Aqua Box.

The Transporter box is a key element of the florist’s attractive packaging options  and today sees the range extended with the launch of a ‘Pearlised’ finish.  Historically, the box has come in a Matt finish in over a dozen different colours and now you have even more options by selecting a new finish.

The Pearlised Transporter box is a glossy, shiny box that catches the light and now gives a ‘luxurious’ feel to any flower arrangement. In colour’s that will compliment any arrangement: the Dark Green, Metallic Red, Pink, Gold and Silver boxes will be an instant hit with all your customers.

At crucial times in the floristry calendar- Valentines, Mother’s Day and Christmas, Pearlised Transporter boxes will come into their own, allowing you to have beautiful displays ready to be immediately whisked off your shelves.  And the good news for the lucky recipient is they don’t have to worry if they’ve not got a suitable vase or how they are going to display their gift!

So if you have never tried the boxes, you should.  And for those regular users of Transporter boxes try the Pearlised ones, very classy!  Transporters are a real asset when it comes to practicality, protecting and supporting the flower arrangement during transit and helping to maintain the flowers condition by allowing the stems to remain in water. They also come flat packed for easy storage and can be assembled in a matter of seconds - no glue, tapes or staples – unlike some other flat packed products!

So if you didn’t already know, here’s a tip on using the boxes,  pre-assemble 3 sides of the box leaving the fourth panel flat.  Once your arrangement / Hand tied bouquet is complete you can then easily slide it into place in the box and then bring up the remaining panel into its slots.  Trying to construct all 4 sides at once can be frustrating…..enjoy the new finish.
